Blackett Homes had an aged website where both design, function and usability were very outdated and ineffectual. Their digital footprint was marginal and while they had dabbled in advertising online, by their own admission there was much to be gained from a total digital strategic revamp.
As part of their strategy revision, we totally redesigned and reconfigured their web site, implemented a CMS and of course embedded rich SEO. We set up electronic direct mail (EDM) templates, formulated a social media regime and implemented a Google Adwords campaign.
Collaboratively, new imagery was commissioned for use across all collateral including on line applications and redesigns of brochures, banners, flyers and display boards were implemented to bring into line with their overarching new ‘look and feel’.
A clear pathway to re-launch their visual identity was established using the new website as the basis of their digital thrust and inquiry channel.
Almost simultaneously, we launched the new site, implemented their Google Adwords campaign, and sent an EDM to the existing data base. Internal Blackett staff posted on social media with an undertaking to regularly update and engage through these media channels. The new collateral was distributed through each of their display homes and offices.
The launch received much unsolicited praise from staff, customers, potential customer and suppliers and after a full 12 months, Blackett Homes had a record sales year, gained market share, repositioned themselves as modern and progressive and were generally thrilled with the overall results.
